    ERASMUS+ Programme

This programme enables individual learning mobility for ETIC students, offering the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad. Students finish their training in Lisbon and continue it through an international professional internship, providing a unique opportunity supported by ETIC. Internships have a duration of three months and take place in a European country.

By experiencing new working methods and engaging with different cultures, students acquire new forms of learning, strengthen their professional skills and enrich both their CV and portfolio.

To date, more than 700 ETIC students have completed internships in their fields of study across several European countries, including Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Romania, Poland, Greece, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Ireland, France and Norway, among others.

    INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
    UNDER THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME

European projects that promote the development of pedagogical methodologies and content, involving teachers, students, and partners from other countries.

Transnational strategic partnerships aim to develop initiatives focused on one or more areas of education and training. They enable organizations to gain international cooperation experience and strengthen their capacities, or to produce innovative, high-quality results with impact at both individual and institutional levels.

ETIC has participated in international projects to promote innovation and the exchange of best practices.

PROJECT 3D PRINTING FOR SUSTAINABLE TEXTILES AND FABRICS

ETIC is involved in a project under the Digital Europe Programme entitled 3DP STeF – 3D Printing for Sustainable Textiles and Fabrics, which focuses on 3D printing applied to sustainable textiles and fabrics, bringing together technology, creativity and sustainability. The main objective is to promote innovation in the textile and manufacturing sectors by upskilling and reskilling higher education and vocational students through the introduction of additive manufacturing.

It is aimed at students in fields such as fashion, textile production, interior design, architecture and engineering, with the goal of transforming the textile industry into a more sustainable sector, adopting environmentally responsible processes and market practices. The project incorporates advanced digital skills, including artificial intelligence, data analysis, AR/VR and machine learning, preparing professionals to lead the digital and green transition.

Educational programmes will be developed, including a Master’s degree focused on the intersection of 3D printing, sustainability and textile design, as well as micro-credential modules for professionals and trainers, aimed at deepening expertise in the application of 3D printing to the fashion and textile sectors. The specific objectives include innovating in additive manufacturing, strengthening the sustainability of the supply chain, promoting sustainable raw materials, and reducing environmental impact through efficient, on-demand processes.

The project began in October and will run for four years, involving ETIC and 15 European partners, including educational institutions, research centres and technology companies. This network strengthens international collaboration, increases diversity, and enhances the project’s innovative impact on both education and the textile industry.
