ETIC PHOTOGRAPHY STUDENT SELECTED FOR THE PHOTOJOURNALISM FESTIVAL VISA POUR L’IMAGE

Mia Persson, born in 1998 in Sweden, of Swedish mother and Portuguese father, was selected for the biggest Photojournalism festival in Europe.

Although this year she won’t travel to Perpignan, France, where the festival takes place, Mia will have the possibility to present her portfolio to the best photographers and editors, as well as digital access to the lectures, projections and all the activities of the entirely digital edition due to the pandemic.

Graduated in Linguistics and English Literature in Sweden, she decided to go to Poland where she studied Veterinary Medicine. But the love for the Arts spoke louder.

In 2018 she moved to Lisbon and chose ETIC, where she concluded the Higher National Diploma in Photography in 2020.

Growing with varied cultures and different lifestyles helps Mia to pursuit her curiosity for new stories to move the world.
