Two heavyweight masterclasses: Ivandro and DJ Ride at ETIC!

ETIC hosted two special masterclasses with two leading names in portuguese music: Ivandro and DJ Ride. Throughout the sessions, the artists shared their experience in the industry, the challenges they faced at the beginning of their careers, and the lessons they’ve accumulated along their respective journeys.

Through personal stories and practical examples, they spoke about songwriting methods, music production processes, and the importance of building a strong artistic identity. There was also time for advice on taking the first steps in the music field: from building a network to staying consistent and developing a solid project.

The conversations were moderated by Ricardo Farinha, who guided the sessions in a dynamic and engaging way, encouraging students participation. The students contributed with thoughtful and well-prepared questions.

At the end of Ivandro’s masterclass, there was a special moment: several students presented their beats to the artist — and he ended up keeping one of those creations for himself! A clear sign of the talent growing within ETIC’s walls and of the close connection the school maintains with major names in the industry.
