Zona Ⅱ: ETIC and CCP together to award a scholarship
ETIC is once again partnering with Clube da Criatividade Portugal (CCP) for the sixth edition of Zona Ⅱ, a program that promotes inclusion and diversity in the creative sector through the awarding of scholarships across several educational institutions.
In this edition, ETIC will award one of the winners with a scholarship for a one-year course, reinforcing its commitment to access to creative education and to the recognition of new talent.
Zona Ⅱ was created in 2020 on the initiative of Maria Goucha and Wil Carvalho, CCP members, with the aim of opening up the creative industry to new perspectives by bringing it closer to people from peripheral backgrounds or with limited access to the creative industries. The program seeks to foster diversity, introduce new references, and enrich the sector with different experiences, viewpoints, and ways of thinking.
Applications are open until March 30, 2026. To apply, candidates must submit a cover letter explaining their motivation, interest in the chosen field, and why they believe they deserve the scholarship. Applicants are also required to submit a piece of work they have created, which may take the form of text, image, or sound.
People of all ages are eligible to apply, provided they have completed secondary education (12th grade) by the time of enrollment in the awarded course. Final-year students of the 2025/2026 academic year are also eligible.
By taking part in Zona Ⅱ, ETIC reaffirms its mission to make creative education more accessible, diverse, and representative, contributing to a more inclusive future for the national creative landscape.
