INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
ETIC aims to provide an education that is open to the world, preparing students to work in an international context. Our programmes offer internationally recognized certifications aligned with the British Education System.
The International Certification can span 2 or 3 years. Upon completing the second year, students receive a Higher National Diploma, recognized globally by the professional world. This professional-level certification also allows students to continue their studies toward a higher academic degree within the British Higher Education System, in any country that recognizes British qualifications.
Additionally, students have the opportunity to complete a third year at ETIC, with recognition from Solent University.
PEARSON BTEC
PEARSON BTEC Accredited Centre
ETIC has been an accredited Pearson BTEC Centre (Business and Technology Education Council) since 2016.
Our BTEC Higher Nationals courses run for 2 years and are internationally recognized, providing students with the skills and credentials to enter the global job market or to continue their studies at a higher academic level.
These programmes are certified and awarded by Pearson BTEC, granting at the end of the second year a Level 5 diploma, equivalent to 240 CATS (Credit Accumulation and Transfer System).
All BTEC Higher Nationals are assigned a qualification level by OFQUAL (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) through the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) of the British education system, ensuring global recognition and quality standards.
BTEC Higher Nationals courses have a duration of 2 years and are internationally recognized, providing access to the job market as well as opportunities for further study.
SOLENT UNIVERSITY
This institution, based in Southampton and with more than 8,000 students, recognises ETIC’s third year of study and grants an equivalence corresponding to Level 6 (120 CATS) in the United Kingdom.

NATIONAL CERTIFICATION
ETIC is a training provider certified by DGERT – Direção Geral do Emprego e das Relações de Trabalho which formally recognises its capacity to deliver education and training programmes across multiple fields.
ETIC offers courses with different durations, including annual programmes, specialised courses and workshops.
ETIC’s courses are classified under the ‘Other Vocational Training’ (OFP) framework.
Training activities are registered on the SIGO platform, which certifies successful course completion for students resident in Portugal, in accordance with Ordinance No. 474/2010.
