They are designed to stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and prepare students for the real-world challenges of the professional environment.
ETIC IDEA
This is an integrated project within the course curriculum, where over 500 students work in multidisciplinary teams to respond to a briefing provided by a company or institution, national or international. Teams may create a product, a business, an event, or advocate for a cause.
Throughout the project, students are guided by mentors who provide feedback and help prepare them for a final pitch. The jury includes company representatives or industry professionals. At the end, the best proposal is selected, and the winning team is awarded.
Companies and organizations that have participated include DELTA, FNAC, Câmara de Lisboa, Clube da Criatividade Portugal, and Associations supporting social causes such as Fundação do Gil, Associação Just a Change and Lisboa E-Nova/projeto Infrablue.
ETIC LAB
A multidisciplinary laboratory for first-year students in the international certification courses, ETIC LAB brings together students from different programs to integrate them into the school community through teamwork. The focus is on developing creativity and critical thinking while responding to a briefing. The challenge is set by the school and often involves understanding the neighborhood where the school is located (Freguesia da Misericórdia). After a week of work, students present their projects to a jury composed of representatives from the city’s cultural and creative institutions.
