ETIC Taken Over by the Power of Hip Hop

ETIC hosted a hip hop concert that put the school’s own talent in the spotlight. Throughout the night, students took to the stage to deliver rhymes, beats and plenty of attitude, in an event that celebrated the creativity of a new generation of artists.

The night kicked off with Gonçalo Melo, who warmed up the crowd with a solid, high-energy DJ set. Sharp rhymes and distinctive flows followed as Bombadas, Vidal, Raffety & Flama, Nogivestome, Jov1 and Bvrtolomew took the stage. The diversity of styles clearly showed the vitality of the hip hop scene emerging within ETIC.

One of the highlights of the night was the performance by the group Twenty Fourty, who got the crowd buzzing and reinforced the spirit of a very special evening.

The closing set was delivered by Rhyset, whose final DJ set kept the vibe alive until the very last moment.

Organized by professor Daniel Freitas, also known as TNT, both artists and audience experienced a night of pure, raw hip hop.
