ETIC x MAAT: Graphic Design In Space
The “Graphic Design in Space” workshop took the 3rd-year Graphic Design class from ETIC to MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. Accompanied by teacher Lisa Moura, this was an excellent opportunity to understand how work is developed in a professional context.
On the first day, the museum team guided the class through a historical contextualization tour, introducing the space while raising questions about visitor flow and museological narrative.
Divided into three groups, the students gathered on-site information, took measurements, and asked questions, preparing the development of their proposals.
The challenge was to create a communication system for the space, including typography, pictograms, orientation maps, and applications across different areas of the building.
