Centro Cultural de Belém sets a communications challenge for ETIC students
As part of ETIC IDEIA, a multidisciplinary project that brings together students from different areas of study, encouraging creativity, experimentation and engagement with real-world industry challenges, our students were set a brief by the Belém Cultural Centre (CCB).
The challenge was to create a campaign that would bring young people aged 18 to 25 closer to the CCB. The aim was to strengthen this connection by encouraging young people to discover, engage with and make the CCB’s cultural programme part of their lives.
The project invited students to take a fresh look at the CCB, showcasing the diversity of its programme and the wide range of experiences it offers, from performances and exhibitions to its architecture, gardens and the different activities that bring this cultural campus to life.
Throughout the process, students were supported by professional mentors who guided them in developing their proposals through to the final presentation.
Our thanks go to Raquel Botelho, Paulo Cuiça, Carolina Monteverde, Joana Costa and Miguel Blanc for their invaluable contribution.
A jury including Catarina Figueira, Director of Communications and Marketing at the Belém Cultural Centre (CCB), Tiago Varino, Creative Director at WyCreative, and Sebastião Teixeira, Creative Director at Graficalismo, reviewed and voted on the projects presented, selecting two winning proposals.
Once again, we were pleased to collaborate with the Clube da Criatividade de Portugal (CCP), our partner in this initiative, particularly in awarding the prizes and bringing together the industry professionals who formed the jury.
A special thank you to Susana Nascimento, CCP Coordinator, for her support and for joining us.
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to all the participating students, who put their knowledge into practice in response to real-world challenges, developed their critical thinking skills and transformed their ideas into relevant and innovative communication proposals.
This initiative reflects the importance of collaboration between ETIC and cultural and social institutions, as well as organisations within the creative industries, in exploring new ways to bring culture closer to younger generations.
