ETIC Films in Competition at the 8th Lisbon Sport Film Festival 2026

The creativity and talent of ETIC students continue to stand out on the national film scene. The films “Fibras de Aço” and “Golpes de Esperança” — developed as part of ETIC’s Film and Television courses — have been selected for the 8th edition of the Lisbon Sport Film Festival, taking place on 28, 29 and 30 August 2026.

The selection of both films represents another opportunity for projects developed by our students to reach new audiences and become part of a programme dedicated to cinema and the world of sport. For ETIC, this presence reinforces the importance of a hands-on education based on project development, creativity and engagement with the professional context of the audiovisual industry.

This year, the Lisbon Sport Film Festival is introducing a new cinema room at Centro Cultural da Malaposta, in Lisbon. Both ETIC films will be screened as part of Session 4, on Saturday, 29 August, at 9:00 pm.

In recent years, Pedro Sena Nunes — coordinator and lecturer in the Film and Television area — has been a regular ETIC representative at the festival.
