ETIC makes history again at PrimeirOlhar!

ETIC once again stood out at the Encontros – Viana Film Festival. For the second consecutive year, and during the festival’s 26th edition, the school won the PrimeirOlhar Award, this time with the film “Silêncio Divino”, winner of the Official Jury Prize.

The project was developed by second-year students and caught the attention of the jury, made up of photographer João Mariano and director and producer João Trabulo. Students João Campos and Pedro Agostinho attended the ceremony to receive the award, while Rodrigo Feliciano also took part in the festival activities on the previous day. Coordinator and professor Pedro Sena Nunes was also present at the festival.

PrimeirOlhar brings together films created within undergraduate and master’s degree programs from Portuguese, Brazilian, and Galician universities, establishing itself as one of the most relevant competitions for emerging film talent.

Alongside the “Silêncio Divino” team, ETIC was also represented at the event by students from its annual courses.
