Khiaro studied at ETIC and was honored at the PLAY!
He studied Music Production and Creation at ETIC and has now been distinguished in the category of Best Portuguese Light and Popular Song with the track “Oh Clementina” at the 8th edition of the PLAY – Portuguese Music Awards. The recognition of Khiaro within the portuguese music scene.
He joined Marotos da Concertina and Luís Fialho to create “Oh Clementina”, an original reinvention of the famous “Oh Laurindinha”, which quickly won over audiences and became one of the standout tracks on the national scene.
In his acceptance speech, Khiaro shared a meaningful message: “We may not always know exactly where we are going, but we must never forget where we came from.” A statement that reflects the musician’s journey and the importance of acknowledging his roots at a defining moment in his artistic rise within the industry.
