Vo’Arte’s 28th Anniversary at ETIC!

Vo’Arte celebrated its 28th anniversary in a gathering that brought together guests, partners, and friends to mark nearly three decades dedicated to the production, promotion, and appreciation of contemporary creation. The essence of a shared journey with ETIC was also celebrated.

The occasion highlighted the lasting connection with our school, a partnership built over the years and shaped by several collaborations. The opening of the event featured Manuela Carlos and Nuno Bento — President and Director-General of ETIC, respectively — in a symbolic recognition of this close and trusted relationship. Several professionals currently part of the Vo’Arte team also studied at ETIC.

The programme included a performance by CiM – Companhia de Dança called “DH – Digital Humanities”, the premiere of “Corpo Que Ouve, Imagem Que Dança”, a new film by Pedro Sena Nunes, and the unveiling of Vo’Arte’s new website, accompanied by a refreshed identity. This new phase reflects the organisation’s continuous evolution and its desire to keep moving forward through innovation.

Over the past 28 years, Vo’Arte has brought together artistic disciplines, created opportunities for collaboration, and fostered spaces for dialogue between different creative communities. More than celebrating the past, this anniversary marked the beginning of a new chapter.
