You have 48 hours to make a film! Are you up for the challenge?
The 48 Hour Film Project is back and kicking off once again at ETIC. On June 26 at 6:00 PM, Atmosferas will host the official launch of another edition of one of the most challenging filmmaking competitions around. The premise is simple: make a film in just 48 hours!
Over the years, many ETIC students and alumni have taken on the challenge and made their mark on the festival, winning awards and standing out among hundreds of participants. It’s a strong and ongoing connection that keeps ETIC at the heart of this initiative.
In addition to hosting the official launch event, ETIC is offering its students a 50% discount on registration, encouraging new teams to jump into action and take part in the challenge.
The final screening will take place on July 19 at Cinema São Jorge, where the completed films will be showcased and this year’s awards will be presented.
The school’s connection to the festival also extends to the jury panel, which frequently includes Pedro Sena Nunes, coordinator and professor of ETIC’s Film and Television department.
